CreateAConcert.com is a free website that connects local bands with fraternities and sororities.  Using web 2.0 technology, CAC makes it very easy for a college student to book concerts directly on the website.

Why we started CreateAConcert.com

Bands want more concerts in their schedule. College students want concerts at their campus. We are here to connect you together.

Who we are and where we came from

Some of us are former musicians. Some of us are college students. We know the ins and outs of the music industry, and we know how hard it is to book college shows. This is about to change forever.

 

Varun Gupta, founder and CEO:

    Varun is an undergraduate at Cornell University and is majoring in Industrial Labor Relations.  He is a veteran to internet startups - his previous work includes founding dndonlinegames.com, a website that boasted a membership of over 30,000 D&D gamers and ranked as the 300th largest messageboard on the internet.  He guides the strategic vision of CreateAConcert.com, oversees operations, and manages the entire CAC team.
    

John Murphy, founder and Chief Band Representative:

    John Murphy is a student at William & Mary and plans on majoring in Business. He is a staff member on TheDailyChorus.com, a webzine that has grown into a major resource used by the music industry for finding the best new talent in the nation. John is also the Street Team Leader of the TDC Capital Area Street Team and does local A&R work, actively scouting the best bands from the area.
   

Mary Bonney, Marketing/Strategy

    Mary is a senior at the College of William and Mary. Majoring in Economics and English, she spends most of her time singing or going to shows in the Richmond and Norfolk areas. After singing back-up vocals on Paramore's latest album "RIOT!" Mary has been heavily involved with the music scene and will remain so after graduation.
